Tech Savvy: Lesson 1, the formal Recall by building on FC Week 6 'magic'

Ecollar - teaching the Recall, remember, the command is "Fido, Come" (to SSIF),"Finish", "Heel" (EF), your release word.

"Fido" = Dogs name

"Come" (to SSIF) = Used here as a familiar command which will be phased out once we introduce the Random Recall.

"Heel" (to Finish) 

"Heel" (Exercise Finish) 

In a couple of weeks, the command will morph into "Fido, Come-Here-Touch-release word).  Ecollar pressure is kept on constant (low stem pressure) until dog comes all the way back to owner into SSIF and then completes with a Finish and EF. Dog is learning it has the power to turn ecollar pressure OFF by doing the right thing and obeying.

Do help the dog this week, run them with a ck cord and if dog is not responding to ecollar pressure, pick up ck cord and bring them to you. Make sure when you do a formal Recall, you remain standing up tall & straight, no bowing.
